Our resort right on the beach!Our group of 21 departs LAX in route to a week of scuba diving in the Philippines...my first international diving adventure! We had a long trip, 15 hours to Hong Kong, 2 hour layover, 1 1/2 hours to Manila and supposedly a 2 hour bus ride to Batangas where we would then get a outrigger that takes us to our resort on the island of Mindoro...another 1 1/2 hour ride! But add to that a 3 hour delay when our bus out of Manila breaks down half to our destination!
It was noonish, around 100 degrees and probably 100 % humidity on a crowded bus with no air conditioning and no breeze. Fortunately we had some FUN people that help to make a bad situation a LOT of fun! Man did we laugh!
We finally arrived at the resort around 7:30pm, approximately 26 hours of travel!!!
