It's 5:30 am when i start this (probably much later when I publish/post) and Squish's family have gone to a special memorial mass for her mum (deceased). I will join them for the visit to the cemetery plot.

More rains predicted today so I thought I'd a a few more misc pics.

Gardening 101
I couldn't figure out what this grassy growth was appearing on many tree trunks, dead and alive. Apparently they're orchids . . . . makes me wonder why people have so much trouble growing them at home . . . they're almost like a weed here . . . . ;-)

This place (between Guinobatan and Legazpi City) is For Sale (on a first come first served basis apparently). Lucky rice is a crop that thrives on water

Outdoor Furniture Bicol Style
Bicol a region within Albay and Guinobatan is a town within it. This pic is not about the young girls playing on my lappie, but the outdoor furniture setting. It's a reasonably common sight here and you see the 'factory outlets' along the side of the road (usually next to one of the prolific Vulcanizing businesses). The entire setting, table and chairs, is made from discarded car/truck tyres

This is taken directly outside Squish's front gate. The little window/hole in the wall is my local bottle shop. She normally only sells Red Horse in 1litre bottles but has agreed to stock SML tinnies for me for the duration
