Pakistan, the South Asian Country, got independence from British-India on 14th August 1947, shares an eastern border with India and a northern-eastern border with China. Iran makes up the country southwest border, and Afghanistan runs along its western and northern edge. The Arabian Sea is Pakistan southern boundary with 1,064 km of coastline.

The historical background of Pakistan is very rich, the Mughal architecture of the 16th century, Badshahi Mosoque, Royal Fort of Akbar in Lahore and various archeological sites of Buddha period that dates back to 2nd - 3rd century. Gandharh Museums in Swat, Peshawar and other castles in Skardu, Hunza, Chitral are worth to seeing for cultural interested people. Taxila, where you can face to face with great Buddha, which Alexander of Macedonia and Ashok the Great, the Indus Valley civilization fulourished for four thousand five hundred years ago. Through the ages Pakistan has been the cradle of some of the greatest civilization, the world has known.

The diversity of the country is mirrored by its people, a wide range of races and tribues, different faces, clothes and activites. Pakistan has great potential for tourists

This beautiful shrine of 15th century is located in Uch Shrif Multan in the South of Pakistan
offering mountains, lakes, rivers, streams, sea, deserts glaciers forest and meadows. It has wonderful variety of the flora and fauna and varieties of fruits grown here probably do nor grown in any other country in the world. Nature has also bestowed Pakistan with unlimited wealth. There are lots of minerals, fuel and energy resources like Oil, Coal and Natural Gas have been discovered. The varieties of the precious and semi-precious stones are much more than any other country. Northern Pakistan is geological museum for the rock forming minerals and for the landscape. The Karakorm Higway which is built on the footprints of Marcopolo, also called Silk Road, hacked through the majestic Karakoram Mountain Range is a marvel of modern engineer skill, also considered to be 8th wonder of the world. The drive on Karakoram Highway is is long experience as road snakes through the some of the most scenic areas. The Indus River that is one of the world’s longest rivers rises in the southwestern Tibet and flows northwestern through the valleys of Himalayas to south of Pakistan and

The North of Pakistan is the land of trekking and adventure tours pardise for the nature lovers. Pakistan presents a vast landscape of amazing riches and variety. It combines a blend of centuries old civilization unspoiled natural beauty, the world famous mountain ranges of Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush with reknown Peak of K-2 (8611M), the 2nd highest peak in the world an Nanaga Parbat (8125M), has the reputation of “Killer mountain”. These ranges are some of the most beautiful mountains in the world, these ranges are the youngest and as well as highest mountain ranges in the world. There are five peaks above 8000M out of fourteen peaks in the world. What a variety meets the eyes? The majestic mountains, verdant valleys, mighty glaciers, rivers, high passes and quite lakes!
