This was a bit of a nerve racking day for all involved, Thea has been in Telaga Marina around 5 years and due to circumstances has not been out in that time. So it was a slog getting all the systems up and running in order to move her! But boy what a day! My friend Gerry was captain, he brought his engineer Greg to help Brent in the engine room, I had Anwar onboard as another pair of hands and Gerry brought his family along for the trip round which should only take a couple of hours. Although we made it (just) I didn't think we were going to... we had all sorts of systems failing when they were put under load and ended up quite a stressful trip! Brent though got us through, and I can't thank him enough for all his efforts. Now we're in the shipyard it's time to get her properly operational again and looking beautiful. So a full paint and varnish works to be done as well as major engine room and hydraulics works. The start of a new challenge, let's see how it all goes!
