Had breakfast across the street, packed, and checked out of the Mekong Guesthouse. Walked to the post office, bought stamps, and mailed the postcards. Got foot massages at The View Spa, overlooking the Mekong. Got our bags and a tuk-tuk at the Mekong Guesthouse and headed out to the airport. The flight was about 2 hours from LP to Bangkok in a turbo prop plane. Arrived in Bangkok and got a ride home in a taxi driven by a woman—a first for both of us. She was awesome and got us home in less than an hour during rush hour!

wow... what a trip. I've really enjoyed reading the travel blogs and especially seeing the photos. Please take plenty more. Unfortunately for many of us, the photos are as close as we will get to many of the places ya'll have been. Take care and keep posting blogs! George
