a stay at Vitaliy 's summer house

After meeting Vitality in Astana, I was invited to stay at his sumer house.

With Elena & Daniels his 13 year old son, also chickens & tomatoes etc.

The summer house is a project, waiting for tarmack road completion, then will rebuild new brick house, the plot in on a spot adjacent to presidents place - so enjoys his highQ water.



We started first night with a 'Beer & fish' session, in UK would have nibbles, but salty fish works too - makes U thirsty. Lots of beer & headache - U know story.



Elena has green house with a passion for growing tomatoes,100 varieties. Also keeps 16 chickens, so has quite a few eggs. 3.6L Subaru, obviouly is cold winters a big engine is handy?? But fuel is cheap.



Daniel's English is far in advance of my 3 Kazak words, he likes computers as boys do.

Vitaliy's bike is latest water cooled GS with all gadgets, just returned from Mongolia. Used to own V-strom, so his part used tyres also fit Triumph but not BMW!! so very kindly I now have 2 spare tyres with me.



Also visited their flat in city, 2 bedroom on 8th floor, so summer house is essential to store all toys. But flat has toys too - a radiant heat sauna & 2 seat jacuzzi, but to be honest I more intreagued by robotic vacuum machine.



Spent next day in shade & filling pool.

Bizzar skype video conference with people at home, walk round to meet chickens & families.

For supper Russian dish of 'meat & potatoes, with 'Lancashire Hotpot' with red wine & 'Pea-wee' to drink.



Really nice to stay in locals house & see how they live.
