I am a food fanatic. Although most of the foods I eat in America are probably the worst things possible for your body, I love tasting and experiencing new foods. In Connecticut, finding authentic Japanese is a feat I have yet to accomplish, but I've been craving everything for months. I didn't take enough pictures, because I was too busy eating everything in sight.

trust me, the stuff in packages doesn't compare. this is just from the cafe at school, but go to an actual ramen place and you won't want to leave.

tokyo has crepe trucks everywhere. they were fantasticccc.

melon soda/kebob
don't let anyone tell you otherwise: melon soda is the best thing on earth. and mister kebob was delicious.

Okonomiyaki
famous in the Kansai region, you typically make it yourself but since we were foreigners, they made it for us.

daifuku
if you ever go to Japan, make sure to get this. it's mochi ice cream. you won't regret it.
