Kaminarimon leading to Sensoji Temple.
Today was our last full day in Tokyo and in Japan. It was very warm today, 85 degrees (F). It'll be nice to go home to cool nights!

We had breafast this morning in the Garden Court -- a room overlooking a beautiful garden.

Afterwards we headed for Asakusa to see the temple there and do our last minute gift shopping. The street up to the temple is lined with touristy places to shop. We got a bunch of our gifts there. It's a souviner mecca!

Then we headed to the hotel to drop off our goodies and had lunch at a sushi place close by. It had a conveyor belt that brought the sushi round and round!! You grab the plates you want, and then they charge you by the plate (they have 2 different color plates). The sushi is so good - I love the egg ones! And they had a crab salad one that was delicious! I kept grabbing it off as it passed by 😊

We then headed to Akihabara - The electronic town. There were so many stores filled with electronics! Very fun to walk through. They also had these big stores

filled with comics. It was an exciting place - lots of music playing, people trying to get you into their stores, bright advertising.

We stopped by Shibuya quickly - another huge shopping district! There was one place that had 5 different street crossings. The lights all change at the same time, and huge crowds of people swarm across.

We had Tempura for dinner tonight. It was really good. A nice dinner for our last. Afterwards we headed up to the top floor bar and had some cold sake. It was nice to see the city lights and just sit back for awhile and talk.

Tomorrow we get up early to go to the Tsujiki Fish Market, then breakfast, finish packing, and off to the airport.

Two weeks went by quickly - very fun and I'm so happy Dad and I got to do this together. It's very special to me, and something I can always remember we did together.
