Another day another temple... Quick day trip to Nara to soak up more of old Japan. Loads of tourists around and even more deer wanting something to eat, such as our guide map - straight out of Katie's pocket!!

Lots of deer everywhere: one of the small furry bastards ate our map!

Horny temple

Todaiji temple. Burnt down only twice since 752, (a record minimum at this point) largest wooden building in the world.

Lighting up

Scary

Even deities need rain protection.. Apparently if you rub the statue and then the part of your body that is knackered it will be healed. Here's hoping...
