On our second day in Hiroshima, we had planned to visit Shukkeien Garden and then spend the rest of the day on the island of Miyajima. Me and Lani were up early at 9 AM so that we could get an early start on the day's activities. Yes you would be correct in assuming it means "tons". "Tonnes" is how they spell it in the UK and France, this is actually the original way of spelling it.
