I don't quite "get" Bali

OK, I’ve been holding off on writing this blog because it’s about Bali. I feel like I didn’t do Bali justice, and like most of you guys, being Australians, know more about Bali than I do. This was at the agritourism place, but even in the city it's the same, most houses have these little sacrifices of rice and food to their god and to Shiva, to wish for good luck.

this temple is based around a sacred spring. In this pool people who have been ill but are getting better can bathe and hope for quick healing.

they don't have the problem with making money at the temple sites like Christians or Muslims do. The little stores just outside the temple sell all sorts of stuff

you can buy bananas to feed the sacred monkeys. Although they tell you not to feed them other food, I think the monkeys are still too tame and too fat.
