Notice the shirtless men. Hindu men in India are required to remove their shirts when entering the inner sanctum of temples. It's one of the few countries I've been to where the dominant religion requires you to remove clothing instead of adding more before entering it's hallowed places.

Cool looking but we opted for a day tour instead of the pricy houseboat which would have blown are under $20/night hotel budget five-fold.

These women are making a thin rope using coconut fibers which is spun in different directions on a wheel. This is called "grandma work" because they make very little from a day's work but it helps out their families and can be done from home.

This guy gropes another guys wife and then beats her when she doesn't go along.

I had to ruin the ending for you but the bad guy gets stabbed to death by the husband of the woman he was attempting to have his way with. The guy put William Shatner to shame with his over acting. It took about 5 minutes and lots of shaking and shivering for the guy to die.

The wheels actually functioned at one time. I don't envy the elephants that must have dragged this thing around.

Hi guys! Long time no see (hope you remember Marius from Samoa:)! Can't believe you're still traveling! That's fantastic. Have you been home since you left? Hope you're having a great time still. In a few years I reckon I'll pack up and go too. I'm still in Sydney though and enjoying it here.
