July 28- 412.5 rupees.
July 29- 608 rupees. Most of this expenditure was the cost of booking a train from Gaya to Puri.
July 30- 923 rupees. Arrived in Puri. I had to pay in advance for my five-day stay at Sri Banajee Lodge- The Worst Hotel In India (see previous entry for details).
July 31- 479 rupees. About half of this was the cost of a train from Puri to Kolkata.
August 1- 157 rupees.
August 2- 299 rupees.
August 3- 570 rupees. Had to get a new room in a pricier place for the sake of (what is left) of my sanity.
Total expenditure- 3448.5 rupees.
Average expenditure- 492.6 rupees a day (!) Traveling in expensive. Good thing I'm back in Kolkata.....
