Five great days of trekking on the Singalila Ridge which is the border between Nepal and India with Bhutan lurking not too far, hence the numerous army checkpoints and camps along the way. No yaks, no cooks, no porters: just sweaty backs, trekker huts, dal and rice and one great guide. This trek offered panoramic views of three of the five highest mountains in the world: yowza!
