Hello scottandanny Very nicely put although your intention of being short and succinct might not have succeeded. The pictures that you have shared are amazing especially pictures at Orchha (I must mention the pic captioned Sunrise at Orchha. It's sublime). Further you have wonderfully articulated your experience (I hope so) at both Orchha and Varanasi. I have never been to Orchha but it is in my list now. I myself like to travel to places which are less crowded and are pristine (or are close to :-)). Hidden attractions have their own charm. Thank you for sharing your experience. Later.

Our favourite place? The million dollar question!! Um, we really enjoyed Chattisgarh and Aruku. Orchha was beautiful. North over South. So, you have one year till your in India? You'll be travelling all the time till then? Wow!!
