After staying up way too late last night with some lovely people we met at our hostel, we left this morning for a day long drive to Pushkar.

Enroute we saw wild peacocks and had monkeys climb on our car. Granted, we were feeding them carrots, but that's beside the point.

Upon arrival around dinner time we checked in to our hotel with its grand view of the mountains from our balcony and then headed out to the lake to watch the sunset. Tomorrow we will visit it properly and also see the Jagat Pita Shri Brahma temple.

And after that.... camel safari! 3 hours on the dunes followed by dinner and dancingin the desert! Then we head to Agra the next day.

Probably won't hear from me for a few days. But I will keep writing and filling memory cards.

We stopped 3x. Each time we had at least 20 monkeys on or around our car wanting carrots.

We had monkeys on top of our car--we had to pound the dents out from them.
