After settling into our hotel and cooling off in the pool we caught a rickshaw into the old town to explore. Once they were made from camel bone though many are now made of plastic

The Rajahs used to hang glass balls from Belgium from their ceilings so we see these old decos hung in peoples houses

the earrings are often hung over the ear with cord or chain

Once on they can only be taken off by breaking - the women wear them very tight - literally forced over the knuckles
