After Jaisalmer we have a long drive back to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the headquarter of the military responsible for guarding the Pakistan border. Fighter jets takeoff several times a day on patrol duty. Jodhpur is a thriving city, despite the slowdown in tourism. There are new buildings, hotels and residentials being constucted everywhere.
