Delhi was much better than Kashmir – maybe not as pretty, but way more to do and see. And best of all, I found out in Delhi what my favourite part about India is – the food. Back in Tanzania, the food is good but not a lot of variety, especially in Shinyanga. But in India, there is a tone of stuff to chow down on and almost all of it was delicious. I am 27 years old and am travelling for the first time overseas. I arrived in Tanzania a week ago and will be volunteering in Shinyanga for a total of 5 months. At the end of October I will be going to India for 3 weeks, then back to Shinyanga to continue my volunteer work. Before I go back home to Canada I would also like to see other parts of East Africa if time and money allow. I fly back home mid January.... full info
