Hello all
We have managed to navigate our way 3000 miles across the globe. it has so far been eventful to say the least. We were questioned at Heathrow if Delhi was our destination......i also asked that to myself!!!
Ok so a 8 hour flight landed us in New Delhi with a gentleman waiting to take us to our hotel. I think he was Lewis Hamilton in disguise as some of the maneuvers he pulled off were rightly applauded. Lane discipline is non existent and the horn is your greatest weapon.
We are about to brace the heat and head into the unknown……..
Right, just come back from explorations and had dinner for 2 quid each. Hmmm……cows in the road chasing people is something different to home but I guess it is a country of great diversity. I guess the best way to fend them off is to hit them with whatever weapon you have. We met some nice folks who seem to have the same stories and method of meet and greet…….are they being nice or have they been trained well to scam foreign people??
We have booked a tour for the golden triangle after
hours of chit chat. We will be setting off at 6.30am tomorrow with our chauffeur (driving his air conditioned tata motor). See you in Jaipur!
Over and out.
Chris
