Woke up to bright sunshine but still bit chilli - in fact Norm and Haze both enjoy chilli pickle with their indian breakfast.

Our private bus braved the mad traffic all beeping their horns to Qutub Minar. Qutub Minar Complex was built by the first Muslim Sultan in 1368. The Qutub Minar Tower stands 78 meters tall and has been struck by lightening twice. Architecture is very mixed - using Islamic principles in its construction and ornamentation as well as Hindu elements.

Next we drove to the Baha'i House of Worship also known as the Lotus Temple. Quite modern, completed in 1986, it has won numerous architectural awards. It is one of the most visited buildings in the world.

After to Humayun's tomb (protype of the Taj Mahal) - commissioned by his wife in 1562, designed by a persian architect and encompassing the main tomb of the Emperor Humayun. Full of riches, unfortunately plundered during the partition of India in 1947 when it was used as a major refugee camp for Muslims migrating to newly founded Pakistan. The Indian Government managed the refugee camp for a further five years until a home was found for them.

When you start a job you should finish it...
mad drive to the major Hindu Temple - Laxminarayan Temple - no pictures allowed inside but the statutes were wonderful.

Then to the Sikh house of worship. We had to cover our head, remove shoes and socks. Next to house of the worship is an enormous kitchen. Every day over at least 5,000 people are fed for free - regardless of race or religion. We went into the kitchen and saw the preparation of this massive amount of vegetarian food.

Our last visit of the day was to the Mahatma Gandhi museum.

This is is our last evening in Delhi - new adventure tomorrow - very early start
