Photographs of India at last!

Hi guys, guess what?? Yes, we have finally gotten a decent enough Internet connection (no rain today apparently) to upload the long awaited photographs! So sorry for the delay, i hope that they are worth the wait!

The news from our end is that, as you can see, we are now in Mumbai! Despite the fact that it was off season and it was like a ghost town we spent 3 nights in Calangute, Goa. While there we saw some of the sights, hit the beach and had a bit of craic, other than that we couldnt find much else to do. We had planned to tour Goa quite a bit but were put off by each of the tourist information offices telling us that there were only about 3 sights open that would be worth seeing and it would be about a 2-5 hour drive to each of them! We didnt see much fun in that so just rented mopeheads and saw some of the local ones ourselves. Fun times!

Mumbai is a much much richer City than the others we have seen and it is a lot cleaner. There still doesnt seem to be many tourists about but it is much more tourist friendly than the rest of India that we have seen. For any of you who are planning on going to India the tourist season starts in September...i would wait until then because literally everything is closed until then!

Next stop is Bangkok folks and the Gateway to 6-7 weeks in south east Asia! We cant wait and will keep you posted! xxx Fi, Lin, Laura and Jills

Really missing you's all- had niamh and scottie's engagement/birthday/exam results at the weekend and even though we had a brill time you's were missed.
