No matter how hard he flapped his ears, Dumbo could not take off with both of them on his back

Dream come true

Getting up at 6am has never been easier. We were off to see the elephants.

As we arrived at the training centre the elephants were being walked to the river for their morning wash. We grabbed a scrubber (coconut shell) and soon were joining in with the washing.

There were seven dirty elephants ranging from 4ft tall to 14ft tall ish. They were all fairly well tempered, though their trainers were continually shouting at them when they put a foot out of place.

Once they were clean they climbed out of the river and it was time for some treats. Managing not to lose a finger or even an arm we fed them bananas. We then returned with them to the training camp where we had a ride and then they showed off by lifting us up with their trunks.

A brilliant morning to always remember!
