At home in Arthunkal

Arthunkal is the location of the family home of my father in law, Peter Mathen. He was one of 11 siblings and his family has a large presence in the area. They are some of the warmest, kindest people I have ever met. His father built one home on the property over 40 years ago and 5 years ago one of the brothers added another home. The village is set in a beautiful tropical environment with trees bearing every type of fruit you can think of. It's Western border is the Arabian Sea.
