Still in Shimla...

Must cut the size of these posts down to keep up to date...a long way behind.
After the first day in Shimla we found we could walk out of the back of Woodville Palace and continue straight down the road for 20 to 30 minutes to hit The Mall Rd. It was a lovely walk too through the forest (fir trees I think) and monkeys everywhere...could be quite agressive and even the locals gave them a wide berth. Sandra loves all animals and one day threw some fruit out of window for a monkey on the lawn. The next day we came home at 5ish and I was fixing a gin & tonic while Sandra was in the shower the windows were open and the next thing I know there's a big monkey sitting on the window sill. I go shoo. .....and it goes shoo. ...to me and jumps in runs to the other side of the room grabs 2 guava's and sits back on the sill eating them.
So that was our last 2 days...walking into Shimla looking at the sites Vice Regal Lodge for example.
The next day 12/9 we are off to Chandigarh.
