I had a simple Christmas this year. Missed my family. But, my landlord was very sweet and left me a surprise. I put together a tree and called it Christmas. At least I didn't get coal.

This is the second time this year that I am in India. I am building network relationships while touring the country and living with a middle income family. I'm getting to see the fusion of old and new, traditional Indian and western influences edging into everyday living. This opportunity is rare and does not come without sacrifices.
