Death from dehydration was ever present
After the rejuvenating sanctuary of Air-Con Mumbai we felt ready to take on the biggest challenge there is in India..... GOA!

Fact: Goa is the most dangerous state in India (for foreigners that is). We feel it would not be sensationalist at all to call Goa....... a Death Trap.

Fact: In the last 2 years, 120 foreign tourists have met their demise within Goa. That's 1 tourist death every 6 days!
We were determined not to become Goa Statistic no: 121 & 122. But, the dangers are everywhere and risks abound. It has been harder to stay alive here than we thought, we have come close to death on many occasions.

Be forewarned, the following series of photographs are not for the faint hearted. They document the terrifying threats that we encountered whilst here, that are ever present still, and are threatening to turn the most innocent of tourists into another.... Goa Statistic.
