I came equipped with baseball bats to Sphoorti Children’s Home this week because there is plenty of land around for hitting balls. Due to plenty of practice with cricket bats, hand-eye coordination was not an issue and I was chasing a lot of balls into the brush. We even managed to lose several on the surrounding rooftops. It really didn’t matter much if the pitches came bouncing in cricket-stlye or made it to the batter in the air, these kids managed to hit pretty much everything. I think we inadvertantly invented some sort of cricket-baseball fusion sport. Another great Sunday and I managed to make it out without having to exhibit any of my own dancing skills but did get to see some more of theirs.
