Summary - Today we visited the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, The world of Snoopy - a special playground created for kids near a very large shopping centre in Sha Tin. We presented also a few pictures of the Cantonese opera.

Lieve vrienden en vriendinnen,
Here we go again. Let´s visit the New Territories again. Vandaag zijn wij naar Sha Tin geweest. Een stad ongeveer een minuut of 30 reizen met de KCR Westrail. Deze stad ligt in het midden van the New Territories en is in circa 20 jaar uitgegroeid van een miniscuul dorp tot een stad met een omvang van Den Haag. Schitterende parken en winkelcentra. In Sha Tin ligt ook het prachtige theater waar wij enige dagen geleden een uitvoering van de World of Suzie Wong hebben bijgewoond. Een fantastisch ballet / musical uitgevoerd door de Hong Kong ballet groep. Wij zijn speciaal naar Sha Tin gegaan om het Hong Kong Heritage Museum te bezoeken. Mooie exposities over de cultuur van Hong Kong en haar bewoners. Foto´s maken mocht in eerste instantie niet, maar na een vriendelijke babbel met de vrouwelijke bewakers kregen wij toch toestemming. Tot zo ver deze keer. Onderweg in het park ook nog wat foto´s gemaakt van de steeds uitbundiger bloeiende planten en struiken. Het voorjaar zit duidelijk in de lucht.

Exploring the New Territories part 2.
Sha Tin een plaats die in de afgelopen 20 jaar uitgegroeid is van een klein local dorp tot een van de grootste plaatsen in The New Territories. Een blik in het winkelcentrum -tje - New Centre. Onvoorstelbaar grote winkelcentra zijn er hier. It ´s a paradise for shoppers.
