After a short stop in Railay, Thailand we left for Hong Kong where we spent 4 days taking in the sights. Our standard of living in Hong Kong improved somewhat from our usual dwellings in Asia. A free upgrade at our hotel saw us go from a bamboo hut in Thailand to a very nice studio apartment complete with two bathrooms and livingroom in Hong Kong - Lisa is very happy! One of our first observations was that tuk tuks have been replaced with ferraris and porches.
Hong Kong was fun. We met up with Brian's cousin who lives in Hong Kong and treated us to a very nice home cooked meal which is something we have been missing. Lisa spent many hours wishing she had more money to waste in the many Hong Kong malls. Other fun activities were a conicular tram ride up to the Peak and an evening at the races in Happy Valley.
