James and Alice on commitee boatJames and Alice on commitee boatJames and Alice on commitee boat

James showing off his impressive navigational skills...
and so the tale continues...

There was a sailing race down at Hebe so after a late night we decided to crash the commitee boat and sit around on the deck watching the race 😊 not that it's a major detail of the day but MY BOAT WON 😊 Go Mojito! Alice failed...in that the boat she chose wasn't even in the race. Shame. was vair windsome though so we did spend a large part of the races sitting inside the boat eating chocolate wafers and watching from the window. The boat was stationed in a sort of bay bit which was surrounded with Mountains ( which Alice expressed a desire to shave) and little beaches. Me and Alice decided we should put our sailing expertise to good use and have been assured that we can crew for the next races( clearly a result of someones temporary insanity)..WATCH THIS SPACE...😊

Was thrilled to find an English chippy for dinner where we had yum English food. My mother (Hi Mum 😊 may have had a fit if she saw the deep-fried battered mars-bar we ate. But was lovely to be in a place which had English newspapers, capital FM and HP sauce...VIVE LA ENGLAND!

Hadn't actually done any of the touristy things you're supposed to do on the advice of my lonely planet so after dinner we donned the I heart HK t-shirts, met Lilly and ventured into Central to pay our $2 (14p) and ride the star ferry across the harbour. Alice was too embarrassed to take photos in case we looked like tourists (which obviously we are)...was uber tempted to buy a bum-bag to wear just to embarrass her further. The Star ferry has a fabby view of HK at night with all the lights and we got some blurry pics 😊

Also an insignificant detail but i managed to get back from central after church all by my self...YAY! ( and i had to take the MTR and shuttle bus) you should have heard my cantonese...the driver was clearly impressed ( Saam Yuk Yaw Lock mm Goi)

So for now... love you longtime

Mim xxxxxxxxxx
