What a weekend- visitors from Hangzhou

Hello Everyone!

I am typing this entry from my new apartment. Moved in last Wednesday... ( Feb 20th)- what a crazy day. Left work at 1:30pm. Furniture team was here before 2pm, cable called to say they were here right at 2pm, the locksmith showed up at 2:05, the air conditioner/ heat repair showed up at 3pm as scheduled. I am not use to service people showing up right at time when they give you a window like 2 to 4- such a crazy concept that they all showed up on time.

The Tv stand was the only mishap- it was missing a piece so we had to wait an hour for them to find it and bring it - so by the time that was all done it was 6:30pm, ran to Ikea to purchase sheets, pillowcases and towels, grabbed a bite to eat and then it was night calls with the US for work. Thursday- was crazy busy and Friday my friends - Lisa, John and Brian arrived from Hangzhou- they were very gracious house guest considering all I had to offer was a bed with sheets, towels and items to use for a shower- the house

besides the furniture - is completey missing all the essentials- cups, knives, forks, pans, plates, food,etc.. LOL. We headed to Macau friday night- some left a lot poorer than others, cough, cough( Brian)... It was a fun night. Saturday we went to Macau tower and took in the people doing the sky walk and the bungee jumping. We ate at the 360 restaurant- it was cool but towards the end the rotation was making me a bit ill. Anyone who gets sea sick would not have enjoyed our boat ride over Friday night- they suspended the service after our run because the water was so rough- we were rocking and rolling. After Macau tower , we headed to the Coti side of Macau and walked around the Ventian hotel/ casino- it was packed! We enjoyed the people watching while having a few beers and then hopped the bus to the ferry and the ferry back to HK for Sat night. Tuesday am, I saw them depart- very early am to head back to HZ 😞... Hopefully this weekend it should be low key so I can head to Ikea and a few other stores to get some actual supplies and

start to stock up the place 😊 . I can't believe in less than 21 days, I will be on a plane back to Boston to be home for Debbie and Mike's wedding 😊 - Looking forward to it. Over the weekend, we ventured to Kowloon - we hit an irish bar and then an english bar named the Bull Dog.. so I can say I have seen my a lot of bars since my arrival in different areas 😊... There is still a lot of the island to explore and experience so hopefully I will get to it soon.. Attached are pictures of my apartment with furniture in it ( from last week), the trip to Macau , the trip to Kowloon and then some fun the nights we were out.
