We woke up at 10:00am today, and we were starving for some food! It was like we didn't have any food for a week and we were stranded in a desert. The workers came in and gave us our breakfast, It was toast with 5 small hash browns and a cup of orange juice. We ate it all in 6 minutes and we were still hungry so we called room service. We ordered pepperoni pizza. The price was $6 ($49.30 in HKD) and I volunteered to pay for it because we only bought one. The pizza had 8 slices but was very big. It tasted really nice, it was very fresh. It tasted better than domino’s pizza, and in domino’s pizza the pizza is like the best!
After we ate everything and was really full we went to get ready. We got dressed and put on our make-up. We talked for a bit to each other to decide where we will be going next. We decided to go to Ocean Park.
The Ocean park features a full full-fledged amusement park with the popular Dragon Roller Coaster, a Ferris wheel, a marine park with a shark aquarium, and a Chinese cultural village with temples, pagodas and traditional street displays. The star attraction, though, has to be the theme park's two very adorable pandas.
We went in the car excitedly and drove to the Ocean Park. It was a 20 minute trip but worth waiting for. When we arrived, there were heaps of people there; it was the most crowded places I have ever seen in my whole entire life. It costs $50 ($411 in HKD) per entry. Shania and I paid our money and they let us in.
I haven't been excited like this since my parents told me I was getting my first dog when I was 6. But this is even better. We went to the Ferris wheel first. The line was very long but they made it seem fast, so we only waited in line for about 3 minutes. When we went in, it was scary at first because we were so high up. But when we got used to it we took a lot of pictures. It took 3 minutes to complete a full circuit. We went around and around for about 5 times. It was really fun!!
After we finished, the next thing we went to was the dragon roller coaster and it was very fast. It was the fastest roller coaster I’ve been to. It made sharp turns when you didn't even expect it to be. When we got out, we were very dizzy; we stayed in the same spot for a while so we could focus.
When we weren't dizzy anymore we decided to eat. The park had many different mini restaurants. We went to the one that sells pasta. When we went in, we decided to have spaghetti and watermelon juice. The price for this was $15 ($123.30 in HKD). The spaghetti was really nice, the spices were very good and the watermelon juice tasted really good, it was the best drink I’ve had in Hong Kong so far. An hour later when we finished eating and drinking everything, we talked about where we could go next.
After 15 minutes of talking and deciding where we would go, we finally decide that we would go to a marine park with a shark aquarium. We walked to it, it took us 10 minutes to find were it was because we got lost even though we had a map. But in the end it was worth it. There were heaps of sharks I’m different sizes and colours. The big ones looked very scary because they were showing their teeth to us and they were very sharp. We took heaps of pictures of the ones we likes, we stood next to them near the glass case. The pictures looked great! The photos that showed the sharks were very clear, just the way we liked them. We spent an hour looking at all the sharks. The time was already 6:00pm.
We finally decided to go to one more place. We went around the whole park asking random people what they liked most about the park. The majority of the people we asked said that they liked the pandas the most, there were two of them.
When we went to go find them, 10 minutes later we finally found them, it took ages. They were very cute! They were like the cutest things ever. Shania tried to steal one, but I talked her out of it. We spend around an hour looking at them and petting them and feeding them. We took pictures of them with us. After 2 hours, we finally decided to go home.
So we went in the car and drove home. When we went home, we went to our rooms, took a shower and dressed into our pyjamas and went to sleep.
