Historic Peak Tram...!! Hong Kong has been a visual delight for me in many ways. Fast paced urban lifestyle goes hand in hand with mother nature. Moreover, I have never visited a place wherein there are mountains, low lying clouds along with sea.
Victoria peak garden is a must visit place with its iconic Peak Tram ride. Its a perfect spot to experience best of city skyscrapers and harbor views.I just can't stop myself from repeated clicks. I have been there twice(back to back) and views were completely different.
Day 1: It was dense cloudy with very low visibility. I reached Peak garden in morning around 10am and it was pleasant to cold, moist and super foggy with on and off showers due to which my views were getting obstructed. Though I enjoyed the experience as it was exactly opposite to my home town. Peak tower has a range of restaurants, cafes and souvenirs shops. Madam Tussaud wax museum was also good experience. Though I was slightly disheartened as I was expecting spectacular skyscrapers views.
Day2: As I wasn't able to make best of my visit to Victoria peak, I decided to visit again next day. This time I reached around 3 pm after
checking the weather update. As expected, this time it was completely different sight. I had clear views of city. Also this time I got the chance to experience daytime visuals followed by changing vivid colours of the sunset making great splashes of fiery opalescence across the sky. Lazer show from Peak fascinated the eye
Travel :Taking the tram to the peak is the classic way to approach the area and a first time visitor should certainly use this way to get to Hong Kong's Peak, but as you explore the area more times do try other options as I did. If you are fitness freak, go ahead and hike up to the Peak. I chose to explore bus route for my 2nd visit as bus is easy and econmical mode of transport with amazing city views as it rides up the hill. Try to occupy the upper deck front row seat to enjoy the best views.Bus no. 15 originates from central pier ferry terminal will terminate at Peak Garden costing HKD $10.2. Please download HKeMobility app to understand public transport better. As I am staying in Regal oriental hotel Hong Kong,
• I took bus till TST star

Day 1: foggy weather, drizzles..!! ferry terminal. Then took ferry to central pier HKD$2.5 and as I moved out of ferry terminal, buses were available every 10-15 min for Victoria peak garden. And same route for returning back in night. I found it very convenient.
