Girl's Birthday Celebration. Kelly and two other girls had birthdays within a couple days, so we all got together and the guys put on a birthday celebration.

We sent the girls into town for a massage, and while they were gone cooked dinner. I even had a cake made (it involved a lot of pointing and really bad Chinese).

Kelly has recently become a New Jersey Nets fan, and one of the Nets players happens to be from Shenzhen (one of only 2 Chinese players in the NBA). So, what better birthday present than a Nets Jersey!

As we were leaving the DJ put on "Hey Jude" without our even requesting it. Fate? We all rushed the stage and sang.

Hiking and camping in Big Wave Bay, Hong Kong

A two hour hike over a pretty steep path, carrying our tents and provisions the whole way. Here we are towards the end... tired but enjoying the payoff of a beautiful beach.

Ok, fine, so there actually were a few other people on the beach. But not very many... we were off to the side and it was like we had the whole place to ourselves.

A tent we bought at a Chinese Wal-Mart for $14. It would break almost as soon as we put it up...that's ok, we weren't gonna carry it back anyway!
