For a minute we thought we were cooking for others

but luckily...it was all for us. and almost all of it was good.

Take that 28 bends

The hardest part of the hike is called the 28 bends because it is so step you have to go back and forth. We conquered it like true professionals.

A pack of goats crossed the path, with perfect timing.

disenchanted with the service at the Halfway guesthouse, we passed on breakfast there and headed over to Daisy's Five Fingers guesthouse and got the royal treatment, complete with a tutorial of her photo album.

Where the tiger leapt the gorge

Legend has it that this is the spot where a tiger leapt across the gorge to evade being caught by a poacher....Megan and I took the 1 hour plus hike down only to have to come back up.

I hadn't seen james in almost 2 months because everyone is so spread out in Shenzhen and we are no longer required to take chinese class.

I thought only my school children did morning exercises....I was wrong...everyone on Shenzhen airlines does them as well.
