Forgotten Tibet - Sakya

We hit the road again, with the stomach still a bit iffy, but we had spent 2 nights in Shigatse and we only had 5 left to get to the border. The village of Sakya is a bit off the Friendship Highway and feels like some forgotten and barren place. Still the people were curious and friendly and our day there was spent climbing up to the monastery and telling the local kids that we had no money for them. Agnes was attacked by a swarm of them who took her tissues!

These kids were so poor, we couldn't but help give them a few yuan. After the showed their mother they ran past us nervously to the sweet shop.
