Most of your China trips seem to be in the winter...
as for me, I think I'll wait until Spring! I'm about 90% sure that I will meet Will in Beijing and then go on to Pingyao, Xian, Lanzhou and Xiahe, Jiayuguan and Dunhuang, and then to either Kashgar or Urumqi, depending on what Silk Road route we want to take to Uzbekistan...still doing the research. Any advice you have would be appreciated. You should be in the middle of your planning for your trip to West Africa...musical camel caravan. Is that still on?

Unfortunately the Caravan of Peace from Mauritania thru Mali to Burkina Faso is about one month after our availability. So off to China tomorrow then Vietnam & Cambodia. Silk Road...you'll love it.
