After 38 years as a Foreign Language Teacher and Foreign Language Dept. Chair at Coral Gables Sr. H.S., and A.J. Professor of German at the University of Miami, I have left Florida in June of 2006, where my home is in Miami Beach, Florida, USA. Ancient stone carving treasures surround the city of Kyungji. My visit to South Korea will be detailed in a future TravelBlog. My travels to this divided but beautiful country made my summer 2010 very special, thanks to the kind efforts of Mr. Kim, his wonderful family and friends in South Korea.

Hi Hans, I really empathize with you over the unreliable computer connections!! Another great blog! Have been to Lanzhou and parts of Gansu, but I am yet to travel to Xinjiang and South Korea.
