My plan was checking out the Market in ChongHe on the way to LiBo, but there wasn't much minority tribe, only the Shui which I had seen in SanDu market before, so I rode on the same bus further onward. soon you saw brick and stone buildings instead of wooden stilted houses along the way and you know you had left the Miao region behind. LiBo is famous for the Karst formation scenery. actually I was here 2 years ago almost around the same season... hot and humid! and it did stop me from ventured into the karst jungle. it was the same today when I came back again, my t-shirt and underwear was soaked with sweat, suffocating air and sleepy mood, inside the non-information bus station, but in fact all bus stations in this part of GuiZhou was bad informative, there was a lot of buses hadn't listed on the time table. not fancy another bus trip under the hot sun, so I got into a guesthouse nearby for a rest. no... no I won't going out again, not until the sun went down! and here in the room it happen again... the lost of soap! you must
know what the shower room was like in the guesthouse in China, squat toilet in the middle of the room, and it was very easy to drop the piece of slippery soap when you ran it over your body, like this afternoon... pakk... it dropped and of course it then pop into the squat toilet followed with a splash. shit... I could see it sat peacefully inside the 4 inches hole with a dark and brownish background, should I took it out with my bare hand? what if there .... no... would you? it was the 7 pieces of soap I had lost so far and this one I just brought few days ago. LiBo is a rather clean town right next to the JangJiang, it was close to GuangXi so there was more choice of foods here than DanZhai, and I had my favourite clay-pot rice for dinner, LiBo is one of the place you could hang outside at night probably because it was near GuangXi province, by the end of the mian street is a new built square and many make-shift kitchen served foods and drinks, quite a few cafes and snack bar(chinese style) as well. but I
was more comfortable to back in my room with a cold beer under the ceiling fan.

A day for bus journey. took the early bus to NanDan where I thought I could get a connection to BaiSi, the journey went through half good road and half bad road where the whole trip on the GuangXi part was under construction, NanDan is the area you can see the White Pant Yao, not many minority group use white color for there dress now a day, not even the Bai in Dali. most of the tribe name are base on the women dressing but the white pant Yao is name after the men costume, and that made the Yao here more special, still couldn't understand why they kept the white color as it wasn't easy to keep clean. still... men are wearing their knee lenght white pant and a jacket with a line of stitching along the bottom rim. and most men still kept their special long hair style, while wrapped together with a white turban on their head, and left a small tail sprinkled out from the side. women wear dark color head cloth tied with white string, sleeveless
pullover with both side wide open underneath the armpits, a beautiful square shape maze like stitching work was being printed on the back. together with a plaited skirt decorated with couple of horizontal indigo color stripes and a small lower apron in front. all their dress are made with cotton. I had visited here couple years ago, so I didn't plan to stay here again. but if I did dig more deep into my memory, I shouldn't came here at all as I need to came by way of JinChengJiang when I heading here from Yunnan last time, so... I should had went to JinChengJiang directly from LiBo, and now... just wasted time! anyways... when I got to JCJ and there was no more bus for today to BaiSi, only 1 o'clock... so... I took the next bus to TongNan where it look like on the way to BaiSi from the map, perhaps I could made a connection there while it was still early. got to TongNan by 4 but again... no more buses for the day, someone suggested me to the road junction down the road that should be BaMa bus around 5:30, should be??? which mean maybe then,
although I did saw that bus later on but glad that I hadn't waited for it because it was a sleeper bus which I hate very much. anyway... frustrated... and the heat really got me, think I better break the journey here and just cool down. find an ok guesthouse for only 10 kuai. went outside for a walk and then I told myself ... I was here before! but why I was here last time I couldn't remember, probably the same reason... no bus connection! not much to write about this town, only interesting places are some shops actually built inside the cave by the road side with natural air cool system, what a treat when I walk inside one of those shop in this oven like town its altitude less than 400m, so I linger...
