Just the bare minimum of explaination for this entry: The cities of Guilin and Yangshuo were definitely the highlight of the trip in terms of scenery and cultural spots, but unfortunately it was also the worst weather of the voyage. Yangshuo 阳朔

The city of Yangshuo is about an hour and a half south of Guilin. It's a really interesting little city and a hotspot for foreigners, backpackers and others who come to see the beautiful landscapes. The plan was to take the bus down and float upstream back to Guilin on a boat, but the cruise boats were not running so I had to just bus it back.
