I had been meaning to visit Nantou Ancient City for ages and the new subway line made it much more convenient. It was late afternoon by the time I got there and walked through the old city gates. You're certainly making the most of the new subway system :) Even though the city didn't live up to its ancient title, it's nice to read about / see an 'everyday' Chinese city going about its day.
