bikes

there was an article in the nyt about how there are too many trucks in china. this is just to show that there is no shortage of bikes either. really just too many people - as they say here, âpeople mountain people river.â

pretty oliver-twist with the metal bowl and all. not a terribly exciting place, and generally what you order comes slopped together in the same bowl. average meal runs about $0.80

dinner

this is follow up to when our chinese friends cooked for us. so we did the best 3 guys can do, spaghetti & classico with garlic bread & some veggies.

this is what it looks like going to class every morning, but i have to go against the current...which is...awesome.
