Not a lot to report this week, so I have included some random photos taken around Siem Reap. I never leave home without my camera. The day that I do, will be the day I miss the photo of a lifetime. These silk worms are only ten days old. They actually only have a life span of 3-4 weeks.

These cocoons still have the dead worm inside them. Each one of these will produce at least 350-400 meters of unbroken thread.

The cocoons are stirred in hot water to loosen the threads up and then the tread is wound onto the spool.
