after our first proper bus ride (about 8 hours) we arrived in Phnom Phen to be greeted by a family of monkeys who were being chased away from a shop window in the middle of the city!!

i wont lie, phnom phen is a bit of a blur to me... i remember walking around the city the first night, finding a nice bar called the magic sponge, getting stuck into a few games of pool with a gang of local lads & ending up sitting in the road drinking jim bean with them till i dont know! there was a guitar, lots of spirits & lots of singing, the photos i took told me this!

next day was a killer hangover made worse by a bad dose of the fear, after remembering telling the local lads we would be back for round two the following night...we decided 2 days was enough & to get the flock out of there

not many good memories of phnom phen...not many memories full stop!
