It has been a few months since my last travelblog (actually 63 days) so I thought I would let all of you know I am still alive and let you know what is going on. I left Vietnam a few months ago and cruised through Cambodia. I spent several days visiting the ruins of Angkor in late January. Thanks for taking the time to read my TravelBlog. Originally from the Chicago area i received my BS from northern Illinois University and after graduating I started my "career" at Abbott Laboratories. While there I earned my MBA from DePaul, Univiersity. Then I dropped out of the corporate world in 1992 when I moved to Minnesota. Next, I dropped out of the rat race in 1997 and I've been traveling since. Wonderful photos
Good to hear from you again and the photos bring back fond memories of Angkor. Coincidentally, I just started reading The Gate by Francois Bizot. It is an autobiographical story about a Frenchman held capture by the Khmer. It is an extraordinarily well-written book. I am 3/4 of the way through a semester of Vietnamese language, in preparation of my return their in Dec. Travel well, my friend.
