Greetings Family and Friends,

Hoping that you are having a blessed day in the Lord. Again, my apologies for not sending you a daily update. From Tuesday October 19 to Friday October 22 we were part of a church leadership and revival meeting at the host Church - Bethel Temple - Lusaka. This was each day from 12 noon till 8 pm (with a break from 3 to 5 pm). Of course depending on the Holy Spirit the days may have flowed much later. Our team consists of one Pastor, two Reverends, to worship people and myself. Our days were filled with praise and worship, focused time on prayer (for ~ 1 hour or so and throughout the day); along with leadership training and exhortations.

Family and Friends, you would not believe the worship ... it is out of this world. Zambians truly worship and praise the Lord from the bottom of their hearts. They sing like a well practiced choir, extremely lively and melodic. We video taped some of these times with them and I hope that I will be able to share this with you. What an awesome time we had in the Lord. Awesome. They are also strong in prayer. It is a key thing for them, you cannot go to church withouts spending a good 30 - 60 minutes in prayer. You can definitley see the move of the Holy Spirit at Bethel.

On Saturday (Oct 23) we were at church from 10 am to 5 pm. This day was focused on Men's, Women's
and Youth Ministry. The men, women and youth were given the opportunity to share and discuss some of their questions. In the women's session we talked about focusing on the Lord's will, Deborah and the Proverbs 31 woman. The men discussed marriage and relationships and the Youth talked about "Jesus not only for the old but for the Young". The feedback was that they were encouraged, that they grew and learnt from this time apart.

Sunday (Oct 24) was the regular service from 10 to 2 pm. It was also independence day for Zambia. The service normally goes to 2 pm, however, with the move of the holy spirit it was well after 3 pm when we were finished. Praise God. One of our Pastor preached the message, and some of us spent time with the children in Children's ministry. Believe it or not there was over 200 children present. We handed out the gifts that we brought (thanks to you), they were so well appreciated. Everyone received something.

Monday (Oct 25) we had another program in the church from 10 to 6 pm. The day was spent in groups (Men's, Women and Youth Minitries). Since this worked really well on Saturday we decided to repeat it and it was very encouraging to all who were there. To celebrate the holiday we also provided the Church a lunch on behalf of the missionary team, so we had an opportunity to fellowship together. After lunch we had a wonderful praise and worship with both the Zambian and Canadian worship teams and the message by one of our Pastors. Since this was our last day at Bethel Temple Lusaka, we said our goodbyes. The chuch looked sad, however, they were encouraged and invited us to come again.

We would be going to visit two sister churches on Wednesday and Thurday (Oct 27 & 28) in Ndola and another city close to Ndola (not sure the name).

Don't worry, I have not forgotten about today - Oct 26 - it was our day off and we went on an African Safari - Chaminuka National Park. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME ... will provide you an update on this at a later date.

Well, going to bed ... looking forward to talking to you soon.

Blessings
SMW
