A DAY OUT IN MT MERU CRATER

Today we spent the day in Arusha Natioanl Park with the idea to go to Mt Mery crater to have lunch overlooking the crater and Kilimanjaro;
Unfortunatey we could not enjoy the view of Kili caus eit was very cloudy but we did enjoy the view over the crater; stunning place , lovely day.
We headed there @6.30 am; it was a great pleasure not to see any safari cars full of tourist which made the trip even more special;

On the way to the creater we could enjoy the park, one of he most beautifuls I;ve seen and some game safari: buffalo, zebra, Elan, Giraffe, colobus monkeys, the black and white one which I have no idea what are they called and the most important and amazing for me, the FLAMINGOS!!! it was just stunning; I have struggled to enjoy the from a close distance in Lake Manyara but today I was sooo close; the trip was worth it for me just for the pleasure to enjoy them.

The place where we had lunch overlooking the crater reminded me of one of the scener from Out of Africa though unfortunately, Robert Redford was not there!!!

i would highly recommned this trip to anyone!
