so finally i been at my placement for three days and its been hell in a sense but really great . am at an orphange, so my day starts off with the little babies in the morning just feeding them and getting them all ready for the day . then i take on the older kids from age 2- 7 where they are not at school yet , we do many things from making sure they dont kill eachother , to social stuff like working on their language skills and behaviour and social skills. also after lunch we always do activities with them like motor activities to get them all ready for school whenever they are ready to start. i also do teach them simple stuff like counting and their ABC , they are like sponges amazingly great . Just really hard to communicate since its swahili and ontop of that they cant even talk that normally. so really am screwed regardless . do spend time playing with them and chasing them around so they dont kill eachother , or just singing and keeping them occupied . ofcourse i do have a favourite hes a cutie hes 3 and soo tiny and addorable , hes like a little baby tho and barely any attention goes to him. he gave me a kiss today haha for once , i really wana take him with me like put him in a bag and run haha . i have two mentally challenged kids at work and its really hard to watch that no one gives them any attention and no help wut so ever , so things like these are hard. but my favourite part is every morning when the twins throw shoes at eachother over the table and run around so haha . also after lunch the second group gets in and then again more teaching activities and social work and about 4 a third older group gets in and ofcourse the same thing repeats, so my entire day is a little crazy . there is no time to get to the washroom and this is ofcourse with leaving the babies in their cribs to cry cuz no way on earth anyone can run a place with them out of their cribs. lots of crazy things happen but its usually beating and tears and ofcourse the kids dont listen , so u have to beat them for them to listen and i cannot beat them , so i just have to lock them in the room for 5 min but no use they come out laughin and do it again lol i pretty much gave up , just gona try doing the reward system hopefully . its really hard to work wit rewards because u give one something they all want it regardless if its for girls or boys they jus want it all . even random neighbours would come in and want it , so now am known as the pipi girl which means the candy girl . Btw candy with kids not a good idea here cuz they will want it everyday . pipi means candy so today a kid came crying in for pipi and my brain is like o hamsah he needs to pee so am like pulling down his pants and haha hes crying more and more and am jus sitting there like wut is wrong with him, then i realized OH ya he wants candy haha ........ um beside my placment and all the crazy stuff happening there i climbed all day last sunday to get to crazy water fall and let me tell u it was hell it was death and those people here r freaking fit as hell, and this weekend am climbing a very known volcanoe and one of a kind in the world i just dont know the name at this time haha so am supposte to be fit for the time i get back haha .............. um so far i think i almost was married 10 times haha apprntly everyone purposes down here and its fine lol. i been told am pretty many times really gota say lol uill love it here , and oh ya i get cheap fruits for showing a girl how to put a scarf on and haha best thing ever i almost got picked up by a girl haha, it was really funny . Everyone calls me their friend and they all love muzungu which r non locals haha ......... thats pretty much it for now, cant think of more , lots of love from tanzania
