Arrived well rested after approximately 35 hours of travel (4 separate flights to get to Dar es Salaam: Victoria-Calgary-London-Doha-Dar es Salaam. It's a balmy 28 deg C and about 80% humidity here in the day right now. Letf Victoria Friday at about noon, got here in Tanzania Sunday, about noon. Very successful meeting and tour of SEAMIC today (South Eastern African Mineral Centre). SEAMIC is a provate/public organization that provides testing, analytical services, spectrometry, assaying of gemstones, minerals, and chmicals. SEAMIC provides training course very much like the courses ATC is developing as part of this project.
